Woori Juntos is jumpstarting its Young Advocates Program, which is designed to take place across three seasons throughout the year: spring, summer, and autumn.
Each season, the Young Advocates Program may be slightly different, which means you are able to reapply and engage in something new, become a mentor to other fellows, or find another opportunity with us, whether volunteering or paid!
We anticipate the different seasons to be filled with different opportunities, brilliant guest speakers, civic and community engagement efforts, and more.

Full transparency: Currently, the program is unpaid, but we will provide some travel stipends and meals. However, we have other paid opportunities.

Participants will develop a stronger vision of community empowerment and a desire to effect positive change within marginalized communities.
Participants will gain a more developed understanding of the challenges faced by immigrant communities and marginalized groups, including people of color, women, and LGBTQ individuals.
Participants will gain insight into how global issues impact themselves, their communities, and society at large.
The program aims to foster feelings of compassion, connectivity, and empowerment within participants, as well as promoting solidarity and understanding among diverse communities.
The program seeks to cultivate a sense of curiosity about the future of the social justice movement and an ongoing engagement with transformative justice efforts.
Participants will develop a strong sense of autonomy and empowerment, enabling them to take meaningful action within their communities.
